Astro Info, a service of the Swiss Astronomical Society. A multilingual web site, most of the information is available only in German. Especially good is their Deepsky Corner. If you know German, this is a superb find.

Digitized Sky Survey is a great source for astro images!!! To find an object like the Horsehead Nebula (IC434) use the SIMBAD name resolver and the select "Resolve It". Next select the type (FITS or GIF) and area of sky, and "soon" you will have the image sent right to your computer!
