October Meeting ParkingThe Bishop Museum is holding a "Moonlight Mele" on the evening of October 7, an event that starts before our own meeting. The parking lots at the Bishop Museum are expected to be full by the time people arrive for the Hawaiian Astronomical Society meeting. People attending the meeting will likely need to park "off site." The parking lot at Kapalama Elementary School, across from Bishop Museum on School Street, is available.Here are some events coming up:Our next meeting is October 7 at the Bishop Museum in Atherton Halau, next to the Planetarium at 7:30 p.m. Click here for a map of the Bishop Museum. Our next Dillingham star party is on October 18 from 6:15 p.m. until whenever. The next Kahala Park star party is October 4. There is a star party at the Waikele Community Park off Lumiaina St. at the same time. These last until 9:30 or 10:00 p.m..
